About us

The Company

iBikeBelgrade wants to give people a great time by showing them Belgrade in a fun and informative way. We believe a bike-tour is the best way to experience all sides of Belgrade in one go.

Although biking is a way of transport which is not used a lot in Belgrade, we developed routes that visit its old parts, its new parts, its nature and its rivers and catch its atmosphere.

For the founder of iBikeBelgrade this love was so strong that he decided to leave Holland and in 2011 move to Belgrade to show this city to its visitors. He left everything behind, but took the only thing that every Dutchman needs to survive: his bike! Together with some great people from Belgrade, iBikeBelgrade was formed to make you fall in love with Belgrade too!

Mission and Vision

The mission of iBikeBelgrade is to provide people with memorable experiences during fun and educational bicycle tours by establishing a network of iBikeCities across South East Europe.

The vision of iBikeBelgrade is to locally support the goals of improving cities by promoting cycling, inspiring people to become more entrepreneurial and creating employment.

iBikeBelgrade is not just any company, it’s a social company. It has been founded with the following aims:

  • To promote bicycle-use in Belgrade
  • To support green projects in Belgrade
  • To create employment
  • To inspire people to start a company themselves

We started iBikeNoviSad in 2014 and iBikeBudapest in 2015. So please feel welcome on our tours in those cities when you’re there.

All our tours start and end at our shop located at Karadjordjeva 11, near Brankov’s Bridge by the riverside. It’s easily accessible from the city center by foot, taxi (we recommend Pink Taxi or the Serbian Uber called Car:go), or tram line 2, which has its terminus across from our shop. Tours start at any time you prefer, as agreed upon with us.

No, anyone who has ever ridden a bike can join the tour. The Riverside Tour is conducted at a relaxed pace without any hills, and includes a midway break to relax and recharge. The City Centre Tour includes one hill and is suitable for those accustomed to cycling. As we navigate through Belgrade’s center, traffic can be busy, but we’ll use the safest routes, often through parks. Your guide will prioritize your safety. We also offer comfortable e-bikes for an additional 15 Euro, which make hills effortless.

Yes, our tours are available every day, regardless of the weather. Belgrade’s summer rains are usually light drizzles that end quickly.

Yes, we can! If you’ve done one bike tour, make sure not to miss the second one! Both the City Center Highlights Tour and the Riverside Tour showcase unique sides of Belgrade, and together they provide a complete overview of the city, its neighborhoods, streets, people, history, and future. Additionally, the coolest and best way to learn all about the history of Socialist Yugoslavia is to take the extremely cool Yugotour, where you will be driven around in an original Yugo and discover everything about the rise and fall of Yugoslavia.

You are! Although our guides try to navigate you through Belgrade in the safest way possible by using the best routes and bicycle paths wherever possible, you are responsible for your own safety.
