The Glo2facial’s two handheld applicators and their attachments deliver the treatment in three steps:

1. Oxfoliation™:  A Glo2Facial OxyPod is added to the handheld applicator. This Oxypod reacts with a Primer Gel applied to the skin, providing gentle exfoliation in a bubbly, CO2-rich environment. This triggers a natural response in the body that creates a surge of oxygen in the blood, which helps transform and nurture the underlying structures of the skin. There is no pulling or tugging involved in this exfoliation method, so it is suitable for all skin types and comfortable to the patient.

The Glo2Facial achieves amazing skin rejuvenation results through a chemical phenomenon known as the Bohr effect. The Bohr effect describes how the affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen is decreased when the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) increases.
